ATEX Technologies is also very community oriented. As part of our commitment to caring for our neighbors, ATEX supports several local programs to promote wellness, literacy and self sufficiency. Of all the community activities we engage in, everyone’s favorite, by far, is the work we do with the Boys and Girls Club of the Sandhills.

• Typically, 600 to 700 children of all ages that actively participate in the Boys and Girls Club.
• There are 3 Clubs located in our area that are open for after school activities as well as daylong programming in the summer months. We are grateful that the Boys and Girls Club places special emphasis on the fact that when School’s out, hunger isn’t, so they provide free meals to children and teens enrolled in their programs.
• The club also focuses on creating a stable and supportive environment for children and teens ages 5 to 18 and concentrate on developing job readiness, study skills, reading, appreciation of the arts, leadership, self-esteem, good health and positive social responsibility.
